This pretend clock is great for teaching analogue and digital time.

Use the hands to set the analogue time and the dice to set the digital time. You can set times in 12 and 24 hour format and your children will have fun learning to tell the time.

Benefits of playing with clocks include:

Toy clocks help teaching the concept of time, including understanding the passage of time, the concepts of minutes and hours and the different components of clocks including the hour hand and minute hand. This can help lay the foundation for developing time telling skills later in life.

Playing with toy clocks can promote cognitive development in children. They can learn to recognise numbers, understand patterns, and develop spatial awaremess by looking at the arrangement of numbers on the clock face, the position of clock hands, and the relationship between them.

Manipulating the small clock hands on a toy clock can help children develop their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. They can practice moving the clock hands to set the time, which requires precision and dexterity.

Can help with imagination and creativity where children can use them in pretend play scenarios, which can enhance their creativity, problem-solving skills and social skills.

Toy clocks can be used to establish routines and teach time management skills.

Can help with numeracy skills as children learn to recognise numbers, count hours and minutes and understand conceps such as "half past" or "quarter past"
